"Orders"

Matt's orders="On Hold"

What kind of orders are "on hold".... Apparently "on hold" means that he is on hold here in SC working on the boat that does not currently have students on it (painting and such) until the next class graduates in September!

That is the worst news we could have gotten. We were planning a summer trip before we had to be to our next duty station and now we are stuck here for another 2 months wondering. Matt says that the boat he is suppose to be stationed on after being on hold is suppose to be posted as well but of course we couldnt be that lucky. Right now all we know is that we are here until September 5th.

That sucks.....I'm sorry Sweetie! I hope that something happens soon and you guys find out something else!

After talking to dh more thats what he said it was most likely for. ( he was half asleep when i asked him this morning ) HEHE!

Hopefully you'll find out what boat you'll be going to after your left off hold. I wonder if its listed on BOL?

So now Matt is thinking of going subs so that he wont be on hold. We have not made any decisions yet but I told him in the end it is up to him.

There is a bright side of being on hold though- it's not fleet. DH raced through the pipeline and, looking back, I could have used a little more of that crazy schedule he was on. Just the fact that they come home every night while on hold should be a huge plus. =]

I hope matt figures it all out! I really hope you guys get the orders you want...I cant imagine Matt on a sub...hes too tall!

Ya Matt called me this morning and said he is not going to do subs, he is just going to stay on hold. Its not a bad schedule Mon-Fri with weekends off so that is nice. Now I just have to figure out what to do about work :shock:

If you can stop working maybe you should. I mean it would be nice to be able to spend more time with your sweet girl before you move. Hope you get it all figured out.
